    Great work Chris. Its counterintuitive to me that Ivacaftor would result in an immediate jump in FEV1, which seems to be the case. I would have thought that with improvement in CFTR function, that the lungs would gradually improve, or perhaps have the rate of deterioration slowed down, but not to actually improve FEV1 so markedly and quickly. There must be thoughts as to why the effect is so fast.
